Support Your Local Bookseller

On a blustery winter afternoon, I strolled into my local bookstore,BookHampton, for just one book. Well, that didn’t happen…

IMG_20130127_202539My impulse shopping kicked in, along with the positive experience of encountering a bookseller rather than just a clerk at a chain book store.  Sure, I pre-order books on Amazon and Barnes and Noble at times, but visiting your local bookseller is a different experience altogether. To me, a bookstore is not simply a means for obtaining reading material–it’s a destination. And when I arrive there, the bookseller almost knows my taste in books better than I do. Where do you prefer to purchase books?
