What you think about when you are laid off

25 Jan

Lay off

How will I pay for beer?

Who will take over my workload?

Why couldn’t they let me go in July when I could tan all day?

Why the heck are we out of beer?

Who will deal with that pain in the arse client who only likes me?

Is this the workplace version of “it’s not you, it’s me”?

How will I pay for my gym membership?

I guess I can forget about purchasing that tanning package.

It could be worse, it could be raining.

Is this an excuse to not wear pants all day?

Will my former co-workers laugh at me for crying in front of everyone?

No, seriously, why are we out of beer?

I guess I could drink wine, but I’d rather have beer.

Now the dog has to eat the discount doggie biscuits. Boy will he be mad.

I can consider this unpaid vacation, right?

I suppose it’s time to blog again.
