About

About me:

Above all, I am a reader.  Sometimes I am a writer, but mostly, I am a reader.  I own more books than can be healthily afforded and housed.  I am highly critical of each and every item that I read, and, as a result, I am tremendously opinionated about these works.  I would say that my education has led me to be such a lit geek, but it’s truer to say that I was born with this condition and there is no cure.

Let it be known up front: I am anti-ereader, and I swear to Charles Dickens that I will never buy one.  Paper over plastic!

About the blog:

I initially began this blog as part of my undergraduate course work in 2010.  I attended a small college in New England where I studied Literature and Communications Media, and, as a result, I often blogged about books I read in class, my experience on the school’s dance team and whatever entertainment-based tidbits I came across in my free time.  As I no longer dance, my blog is now more based on literature and popular entertainment.

Currently, I’m located in New York, and my blog has become a hobby.  As an avid reader/bookworm, I provide my readers with all of my current reading experiences.  Occasionally, I will visit popular entertainment, after all, I am still a twenty-something year-old girl.

I hope you enjoy my thoughts and findings. Feel free to comment and inquire!
